George is a software solutions professional with a passion for helping people and tackling challenging problems - even when previous efforts have failed. His technology interests and experience includes software development and systems integration efforts for learning management systems, student information systems, library and information retrieval systems, knowledge and content management systems, and portals.


George has a strong track record of leading successful projects and getting new ones off the ground, particularly in the educational technology space in which he has over a decade of experience. He is well versed in the nuances of software design and development in academic contexts, adoption/usage patterns, APIs and developer strategies, and software componentization based on open standards and modern architectures.


Currently, George looks after the online teaching and learning infrastructure for the largest online public university in the United States. He has a longer-term goal of becoming the CIO for a medium-sized organization.
